Jodee Knowles and Creon - partners in life and art - discuss their upcoming show, Dream Demon, launching in Tokyo at Gallery ETHER tomorrow - the 12th of November.
In their debut international duo exhibition and NFT launch, Jodee and Creon join forces for an epic blending of styles, where Creon's meaningful, dark exploration of pop art juxtaposes the big-eyed, deeply emotive fantastical characters iconic in Jodee's work.
Having had Jodee on the podcast earlier this year, new to the concept of NFTs, this was an exciting chance to bring her and Creon back on, moments before launching their NFT project, to discuss how it's been developing their knowledge in these months and the rave reviews they see already from collectors eager to snap up their NFTs.
On this episode, we discuss the show, how the team work in tandem and their experience bringing their work to the digital realm in collaboration with their animator, Erik, at The Mushroom Galleries.
